In April, through the Toru Youth Commission, we sent a group to the Christian Conference of Asia, Asian Ecumenical Youth Assembly in Chaing Mai, Thailand. Daniel (Auckland) and Hannah (New Plymouth) represented Tikanga Paheka and joined the rest of the Toru Youth Commission crew.

It sounds like it was a super busy few days filled with fascinating speakers, workshops and cultural experiences, including a cultural night that Daniel counted as a huge highlight. They even managed to get a little time to go meet some elephants! Daniel has written a comprehensive report about all they learned and reflected on throughout the conference, it’s well worth a read.
