Covid-19 Traffic Lights removed

New Zealand has now retired the COVID-19 Protection Framework, known as the ‘traffic light’ system. Some requirements however are still in place:

  • You need to isolate for 7 days if you test positive for COVID-19 and

  • Wear a mask when visiting healthcare facilities (hospitals, GPs, pharmacies and aged care homes).

Household contacts no longer need to isolate for 7 days but are asked to take a rapid antigen test (RAT) each day for 5 days.

Masks are no longer required for church activities, but please respect those who continue to wear masks for the protection they offer against COVID-19.
