Funding

Applying for funding grants

You can apply for funds for special projects from several different sources

  • From Diocesan Council through the Diocesan Development Fund.
  • From organisations associated with the Auckland Diocese.
  • From external community funding agencies.

The amount of money available varies, and each organisation has its own funding criteria and application deadlines. For more information, please send us an email. So that we can best assist with any queries or requirements it is recommended you contact the Diocesan Office well in advance of any funding application deadlines.

Funding opportunities

Diocesan Development Fund

Any ministry unit or mission venture can apply to the Diocesan Council for funds for development projects. Projects should connect to the mission and ministry of the local ministry unit and align with the wider vision of the diocese. They will reach new people, new locations or new generations; employ innovative methods of mission and ministry; or develop leaders.

The Diocesan Development Fund application process is closed until further notice.
