Winter Ministry Training Hub

Guest speaker The Rev’d Mark Barnard will speak on Connecting to People and Place: Why ‘where we are and who we are with’ really matters. The talk will be followed by the opportunity to check out a range of parish outreach initiatives such as ‘Art for Kids’ and ‘Men’s Groups’.
The quarterly ministry training hubs are designed to offer training and a strong peer community for lay leaders in the diocese. Hubs start with kai and worship at 1pm before participants choose one of the 2-3 workshops offered. In 2024 workshops will be offered in the areas of pastoral care, children and families, youth and ‘Relevant outreach & Proclaiming the Gospel’.
Hubs meet on Sunday afternoons 1-4pm, in a range of churches around the diocese. More details to come.
