What to do in case of accidents
Incident reporting is a significant part of health and safety management. If an incident, accident or near-miss happens at your ministry unit, no matter to whom and regardless of whether it is “work-related” or not, it needs to be reported. The diagram below gives a useful summary of the process to follow.

Incidents need to be reported so we have a greater understanding of the risks our ministry units are facing, and the actions being taken to eliminate, minimise or isolate them. If you do not have an incident reporting form that you use currently, you can download one here: Incident Reporting Form.
