Our quarterly Training Hubs are open to all ministry leaders in our diocese. We offer workshops in four different areas: worship leading and preaching, pastoral care, children and families, and youth leadership. Lunch and a short time of worship is provided before participants break into workshop streams.

Hidden treasures in our Prayer Book
Our prayer book is far more than a resource for Sunday worship. Within its pages are treasures to enrich and support our daily ministry, including prayers for meetings, prayers with the sick, prayers of celebration, and prayers to feed us daily.

The role of prayer in pastoral care
Prayer can be a gift which brings the healing grace of God into a person’s life. This workshop explores the ways in which we can offer prayer as well as some of the pitfalls that can accompany our prayers for another person.

Trauma Informed Youth Ministry
Many young people carry trauma that shapes how they experience the world, from neurodiversity to relationship breakdowns and beyond. Becky will explore what may be happening beneath the surface and how youth ministries can nurture safe, welcoming spaces where God’s love can be heard clearly.

Resources for children’s ministry
With so many children’s ministry resources online, it can be hard to know what will work in your setting. Angela will share practical, adaptable options for a range of ministry contexts, budgets, age groups, and volunteer teams.
