Our quarterly Training Hubs are open to all ministry leaders in our diocese. We offer workshops in four different areas: worship leading and preaching, pastoral care, children and families, and youth leadership. Lunch and a short time of worship is provided before participants break into workshop streams.

Do you want your preaching to be more engaging? Join Fiona, a published author (over 25+ years) and vicar, in using the techniques of storytelling in your preaching. - Pastoral visiting with older people with Carolyn Wellm
How can we best support older people in our communities? Join Carolyn Wellm (Selwyn Programme Development Manager) and Lucy Nguyen, Priest and Supervisor, for practical insights on pastoral visiting, safety, age-related change, and signs of vulnerability. - Outward facing children’s ministry with Claire Wyeth & Nina Lorigan
What if your church became more than just a place people walk past? This practical workshop, led by two experienced lay ministers in our diocese, explores simple, real-life ways to build meaningful connections with children and families within your local community. - Mental Health and wellbeing conversations with young people
Join Neville and Sapati from Scripture Union as they unpack Apōpō, a dynamic and interactive programme designed to equip people with basic and effective tools, to support themselves and all those they love and serve by having conversations about their mental health and wellbeing.
